I believe it was Chaucer who said all good things must come to an end.

While the Alaska Golf Blog isn’t ending, it is taking a break to evaluate. The last three summers were filled with experiments, all motivated by the desire to gauge the interest of both readers and players.

The AGB has always been a long-term project with the intention of lasting for decades. We’ll see if that materializes, but for 2017, the AGB will be low key. New posts will show up sparingly and there will be no formal events. That means the AGB Cup is taking a break as well.

Tee times are reserved for Friday night, June 30 at AGC, starting at 6 p.m.

Anyone interested in playing a skins game that night, please let me know and I’ll put you on the list.
