Eagleglen lives in Bill Preston’s garage

Tonight I had the honor to play Eagleglen for the first time in five or six years. A visit to Bill Preston’s garage made it possible to play the Anchorage course that officially closed in 2014.

Preston got around that problem by setting up a golf simulator and creating his own Eagleglen replica of the digital variety.

Playing around the 18 holes, there were times it really felt like Eagleglen. It was a truly masterful job of design by Preston. I’ll expound more about the experience when I have more time, so stay tuned.
