Darci Trimmer is miles and miles ahead in the women’s Senior State Am. Her 76 Saturday at Palmer added 12 strokes to her lead over Toyoko Hawkins, who Trimmer now leads by 13.

Benjie Sumulong fired a 2-under par 70 at Palmer Saturday and Mark McMahan, his closest pursuer shot a 71, which means Sumulong now leads by three shots in the Senior State Am with 18 holes to go. Sumulong shot 75 to McMahan’s 77 in Friday’s opening round, so Sumulong is 1-over through 36 holes.
