My goal was to write a journal entry every day while on vacation, documenting the best golf trip of my life every step of the way. I managed just three posts.

The posts, which are immediately preceding this article on the blog, are nothing special. They are tired ramblings of a tired golfer, mostly. One could argue that I make a few interesting observations, but the merit of the posts is debatable.

So, if I ever can afford to take another vacation, I’ll likely leave the writing tools behind and just have a good time. I can always write from memory, after the fact, which is what I will do here when the mood strikes. There is potentially a lot to say about Bandon Dunes, still, where the experience was so all-consuming, that writing never crossed my mind.
