The Hill Course played tough today in the first round of the Arctic Valley Open at Moose Run. The course was in good shape and the greens rolled pretty true, but the holes were in some tough spots and scores were higher this year than in the past.

This is the third year for the AVO and the first round at the Hill Course usually produces many scores in the 70’s. This year there were only three, a 77 from leader Jake McGraw, a 78 from Jung Han and a 79 from Matt Desalernos. Brad Ross will likely round out the final foursome Sunday after shooting 80.
